BODY CONTOURING®

Body Contouring® is a non-surgical body contouring treatment that freezes the fat tissues to sub-zero degree without damaging other tissues. Body Contouring® is approved by FDA.

Procedure

Body Contouring® sessions last approximately 1 hour, during which time a cooling gel pad will be placed onto the target areas. You will experience a mild cooling sensation through a vacuum, which draws in the fat; this is perfectly normal and all a part of the fat freezing procedure. Throughout the session, the temperature will gradually fall to -6 to -8 degrees Celsius thus freezing the fat cells. Once the treatment is over, the gel pad will be removed and the area will be massaged for 1-2 minutes. Patients can expect zero discomforts during the session but may, however, depending on each individual’s skin tolerance, experience temporary bruising once the cold lipolysis procedure is over. During the procedure, patients can make use of our iPads and other forms of entertainment, but if you just prefer a nice cup of tea, then that’s fine too.

Time

The complete Body Contouring® procedure will typically last no longer than an hour, so you can quickly continue your day as you may wish.

The number of Sessions

Body Contouring® generally, results in a large reduction in the number of fat cells from the very first session (*Results may vary). Therefore, the number of sessions required is contingent upon your aims. One session may be all that is necessary, just come in and see us and will give you our expert opinion.

Results

The results vary depending on the density of the fat, and the size of the areas treated. 9 out of 10 clients see results in 3-12 weeks. The most dramatic result often achieves after 2 months.

Although the number of fat cells reduced during Body Contouring®, patients are still advised to live a healthy lifestyle as this will help maintain their perfect body. It is also important to exercise regularly as this will assist in the metabolism of the dead fat cells.
